Reftruck was established in 1989 with a vision to introduce to the Egyptian market all its needs of insulation and refrigeration solutions for efficient transport and storage facilities that relies on innovation and customization.

1989

• Reftruck was established with a specialization in small boxes for trucks with maximum payload of 1.5 Tons.
• The company started with a capacity of 2 boxes per month and was operating with only 6 workers and 1 engineer.

1994

• Reftruck started building its own mechanical press to produce semi-trailer boxes.
• Reftruck became the sole distributor for Carrier Transicold refrigeration units in Egypt.

1998

• Reftruck obtained the Know-How from Lamberet, France.
• Reftruck increased its yearly production to 480 boxes per year.

1999

Reftruck moved from its initial 2,000 sqm factory to a 30,000 sqm factory, the new factory almost doubled the yearly production which reached 800 boxes per year.

2000

Reftruck added a new production line to produce “Sandwich” panels used for cold rooms and cladding.

2011

Reftruck increased its yearly production to 1600 boxes per year to meet the various demand and needs of its customers.

2013

• Reftruck started producing 15 m trailers.
• Reftruck optimized its sandwich panels line with the help of the UNDP to produce 100% environmentally friendly insulated panels.

2015

• Reftruck optimized its production to enhance the delivery time and better serve its customers.
